The slow tempo of this track allows us to have a relaxed mentality, while maintaining the soulful vocals that are a signature of Bea Maher's music, as we've previously heard.
The vocals fit perfectly with the slow tempo of the track, layered over the riffs played by the bass and electric guitars. This allows the drums to play a slight allegro tempo with drawn-back vocals and guitars. Throughout the song, there is a nice call and response between the guitars and the vocals. The vocals thicken at the end of verses and the chorus with subtle but beautiful harmonies

This song differs from the songs we've heard before from Bea, which were more fast-paced Soul and Funk songs. We don't hear the faster pace until the bridge; the rest of the song allows us to sit back and enjoy a chilled, relaxed vibe for nearly four minutes. This song showcases Bea's soulful vocals in a clearer light, allowing her legato vocals to shine through with the harmonies.
